TWO MEN PICK-POCKET AN ELDERLY MAN - MO24-06086

On October 6, 2024, an elderly victim was pick-pocketed while he was exiting Jewel-Osco in Moline. These two suspects approached the victim from the front and back. One of them grabbed a hold of the victim and was able to remove his wallet from his pocket. The suspects then went to Walmart in Davenport and charged $3,000 worth of merchandise on the victim’s credit card. Both suspects are African-American in their 50’s and both were wearing hats, glasses and masks. On October 10th, these same two suspects also committed the theft of an elderly victim’s wallet while at Hy-Vee in Davenport. It is believed they committed a similar theft in Waterloo, Iowa. The suspects have been driving a silver SUV. ATTEMPTED COPPER THEFT IN MILAN - CO24-02882

On October 13, 2024, at around 2:30 in the morning, a burglary and attempted theft of copper wire occurred at the Mid-American Power Station located in the 3000 block of 176th Avenue, Milan. The suspect cut the fence and drove his black Dodge truck on to the property. The suspect attempted to steal a reel of very expensive copper wire. Rock Island County Sheriff’s deputies arrived as the theft was in progress and the suspect fled from the scene. This suspect appears to be the same suspect in several other recent thefts of copper in the Illinois Quad Cities. On August 11, 2024, the victim’s motorcycle broke down on Highway 61 at mile marker 131 in Scott County. When he came back to pick it up the next day it was gone. On July 26, 2024 at 10:42pm, two masked subjects wearing dark clothing with hoods entered the Dollar Tree, located at 2552 24th Street, Rock Island and demanded money from an employee. One subject was armed with a firearm. No injuries were reported. One of the suspects is described as a black, male, 5’11” tall, in his mid 20's who was wearing all black clothing. The second suspect was slightly shorter than the other suspect and was carrying an AR-15 style rifle. This suspect was also wearing all black clothing, black gloves, and a black face mask. The suspects fled the area in a gray vehicle with an undisclosed amount of U.S. currency. On May 12, 2024, two masked men walked into Walgreens in Milan just before closing at 10:00pm. One of them displayed an AK-47 style rifle and demanded money. They took an undisclosed amount of cash. The first suspect is described as a male, black, 5’7”-5’9” tall wearing a black Nike quarter zip shirt and black Nike shoes. He walked slightly pigeon-toed. The second suspect was carrying the rifle and is described as male, black, 5’10”-6’ tall wearing all black clothing and bright red shoes. They arrived in and left in a stolen 2022 Jeep Grand Cherokee Trailhawk. The Jeep was stolen in Moline a few days before the robbery and after the robbery was abandoned in the Century Woods complex in Rock Island. The Illinois State Police Division of Criminal Investigation Zone 2 and the Henry Mercer County Investigative Task Force are investigating a homicide in Kewanee, Illinois. On June 8, 2024, the Kewanee Police Department responded to a welfare check in the 800 block of West Division Street. Upon arrival, officers discovered Damon Foulks (Age 50) unresponsive and he was pronounced deceased. James Reed III (Age 26) from Kewanee has been identified as a person of interest. Agents are actively trying to locate Reed. Please do not approach him. On October 22, 2022 at 12:24 AM, Tavian Petersen-Brown and his girlfriend attended a party at a home in the 1000 block of 14th Street, Rock Island. During the party, Tavian was shot and killed by an unknown suspect. It is not known why Tavian was shot. Prior to police arrival, the majority of the people attending the party had fled the scene and those who remained could not provide much information. Tavian’s friends and family want and deserve answers. To help with that, a reward fund was established. The reward fund is up to $12,500. Crime Stoppers is also offering a $2,500 reward. She is described as having curly brown hair and was wearing white shoes, gray yoga pants and a white long-sleeved tee shirt. Moline Police are asking for your help identifying this male subject. On April 14th, 2024 he entered Target and is seen on video taking his tank top off and putting on a tee-shirt from the shelf. He throws his tank top underneath. He then walks to the bicycles. He selects one and walks out of the store without paying for the bike or the shirt. The stolen bike is worth $264 and is a dark colored Schwinn 28” Trailway Step Over. Target staff have seen this subject before riding a bike in the area of the store.
