ATTEMPTED BANK ROBBERY - 2020-007476
October 16, 2020

FATAL HIT AND RUN IN DAVENPORT
October 15, 2020

On September 12, 2020 at 02:14 a.m. Davenport Police received a 911 call regarding a subject lying in the roadway in the 1900 block of W 48th St.  The victim was transported from the scene to Genesis East Medical Center and passed away from injuries sustained in the incident. MILAN STORAGE SHEDS BURGLARIZED - 2020-002124

VACUUM CLEANER STOLEN AT TARGET - 2020-008346

On September 16, 2020, this white male, described as being thin with an olive complexion, in his late teens or early twenties, wearing  a light colored hat, striped face mask, white t-shirt, khaki shorts, red socks, and white shoes, stole a $300 Shark vacuum cleaner from Target in Moline. PAPA JOHN'S ROBBED - 2020-008212

On Saturday, September 12, 2020 at around 10:35 pm, two suspects went into to Papa Johns at City Line Plaza in Moline and robbed the restaurant at gunpoint.  One of the employees was struck in the head with the pistol and then the second suspect punched him in the head.  The suspects stole money from the register and from the office area.  Suspect #1 is described as a male black in his teens or early twenties, 5`8” to 5`10” tall with a slim build. He appeared to have braided black hair and was wearing a white hooded sweat shirt with gray camo pattern on it, long black pants and red ankle high athletic shoes. He was wearing gloves and a surgical  mask and was armed with a medium to large size black pistol.  Suspect #2 is described as a male black in his teens or early twenties, about 5`8” to 5`10” inches tall with a slim build.  He was wearing a black hooded sweat shirt with a white or light colored shirt under it. He was wearing long black pants, with black shoes and his face was covered with a surgical mask and surgical gloves. CAR STOLEN IN EAST MOLINE - 2020-002552

On July 30, 2020 just after noon the subject pictured stole a vehicle that was left running in the Circle K Parking Lot at 1827 18th Avenue East Moline. He is described as being in his teens, wearing a white and striped jersey with an under shirt, tan pants and black flip flops. WHEELS STOLEN AT MILLS CHEVROLET

On Tuesday, September 8th two wheels were stolen off of a 2019 White Chevy Colorado at Mills Chevrolet in Davenport.   The suspect arrived on the Mills lot at around 7:00 PM that night, drove around the building and pulled in directly next to the Chevy Colorado. He sat in his vehicle until 9:00 PM and then got out and proceeded to jack the vehicle in the air and remove both front wheels. He then lowered the vehicle back down, loaded the tires and drove off. SHOPLIFTER FLEES FROM POLICE - 2020-007396

SUSPECT ATTEMPTS TO BREAK IN TO AN ATM - 2020-006339

Do you recognize this person?  On July 21, 2020 at about 9:30 pm, he attempted to break into an ATM machine in the 2100 block of 48th St, in Moline. The machine was damaged but entry was not gained. RC CAR STOLEN - 2020-005112

$5,000 REWARD OFFERED IN MURDER OF JESSE BRAND JR. - 2020-008002

BURGLARS USE DISTRACTION TACTICS TO ENTER HOMES - 2020-006911
August 21, 2020

On August 7, 2020 a suspect described as male Hispanic, approximately 5’09” tall, approached an elderly homeowner in the 2600 block of 10th Street in Moline and stated they were pressure washing a neighbor’s fence and solicited her to do work at her residence as well.  A second male described as caucasian, dark hair, approximately 6’ tall in his 50’s, went inside the victim’s house and distracted the male homeowner while a third accomplice went into another room.  The third person took a pillowcase off the victims’ bed, filled it with jewelry and left. CHILD INJURED IN HIS AND RUN ACCIDENT - 2020-006602

On July 29, 2020, Moline Police responded to the 500 block of 16th Ave where a 10-year old child on his bike was hit by a black car. The car never stopped and was last seen driving south in the 1600 block of 7th Street. The child sustained minor injuries and was treated and released.  The bike was destroyed. The driver was described as a white male in his 30’s, with a long red beard. CAR SET ON FIRE IN ROCK ISLAND - 2020-006509
