STOLEN CREDIT CARD USED IN ROCK ISLAND - 2021-005573

On June 17th, at 7:15 in the morning, the victim parked her car at KinderCare in Rock Island and dropped her daughter off.  When she got back to her car she noticed her purse had been taken.  Her purse contained her Id’s, cash and bank cards. OVER $1,000 IN GOODS STOLEN - 2021-005230

On May 21, 2021, this male subject committed a Retail Theft at Walmart and managed to steal over $1,000 worth of merchandise, including household goods, sporting goods, televisions and auto parts.  He is described as a white male wearing a black jacket and hat with a black face mask.  He was seen on camera walking through the self-checkout area without paying for the items, and leaving the scene. His vehicle appears to be an older red F-150 with a bed topper and two Iowa Hawkeyes stickers on the tailgate. There were no license plates on it. MAN GROPES VICTIM INSIDE WALMART - 2021-005442

On June 2nd, the pictured male in the black and white outfit followed the female victim in this case throughout Wal-Mart and ultimately groped her inappropriately. She believed the male to be younger and a lighter skinned African/American. The male had his hood up the entire time he was in the store, with his face covered by a mask. BURGLARY IN PARKVIEW IA - 2021-25426

MERCER COUNTY CRIME STOPPERS JOINS IN EFFORT TO LOCATE DARVION LARD - 2021-012016

On December 15, 2021, 16-year-old Dylan McAlester of Sherrard IL was shot and killed while in Rock Island.  A warrant was issued for the arrest of Darvion Lard (Age 21), charging him with First Degree Murder.  Crime Stoppers of the Quad Cities has been offering a cash reward of $2,000 for the information that leads to his capture.  However, he is still at large.  Mercer County Crime Stoppers is now offering an additional $1,000 cash reward (For a total of $3,000) in hopes of spurring people with information to do the right thing and call.  Anyone with information can submit their anonymous tip by calling Crime Stoppers of the Quad Cities at 309-762-9500 or Mercer County Crime Stoppers at 800-582-2762 or by using the free app P3 Tips.

CASH STOLEN FROM LOST WALLET (2021-004859)

$2,000 REWARD REGARDING DOWNTOWN DAVENPORT SHOOTING

On Sunday June 6th, at 1:30 AM, the area of the Figge Art Museum and Skybridge in downtown Davenport was peppered with bullets causing extensive damage.  Thankfully no one was hurt.  Davenport Police are asking for the public’s help in determining who was responsible.   Crime Stoppers of the Quad Cities would like to help with that by offering a $2,000 cash reward for the information that leads to arrests in this case. THEFT AT ALL ABOUT EYES - MOLINE (2021-004996)

On May 21st, this male suspect entered All About Eyes in Moline.  He made an appointment using a false name and then went to the frames area and picked up several pairs.  He is seen on surveillance camera putting them in his pockets. UNITED TOWNSHIP STORAGE BURGLARIZED - 2021-000973

HEREFORD PARK TARGETED - 2021-001667

On April 26, 2021, Hereford Park employees found that unknown suspects had  cut the locks of the gates leading to the restrooms and made entry.  Trash, clothing, and two bicycles were strewn about.  They also took the plumbing from both restrooms and damaged the electrical outlets. CHAIN SAWS STOLEN IN ROCK ISLAND - 2021-003856
April 26, 2021

On April 19th at about 2:30 in the afternoon, this suspect stole two chain saws from Van Wall Equipment in Rock Island.  Investigators are asking for help identifying him.  He was wearing a brown jacket, black pants, and white shoes.  He had a getaway car waiting for him, described as a silver BMW with black front bumper.  It had damage to the rear driver's side door, and it has a black used car dealership advertisement plate where the license plate should be.  The chain saws taken were a Stihl 14 inch worth $380 and a Stihl 25 inch worth $800.  If you can help identify this person or have any information about this theft, call the tip line 309-762-9500 or submit your tip using the free app P3 Tips.  All tips are anonymous and you could earn a cash reward.

SHOPLIFTERS HIT CITITRENDS - 2021-003265

On Saturday, April 3rd, these three ladies entered Cititrends, 1990 1st Street A, Moline, and loaded up a basket and their arms full of merchandise.  When the clerk turned her back, they ran out of the store.  One suspect was wearing all black. The second was wearing a white hat with her hair in a ponytail, white shirt, camo pants, and white Nike Air Force One shoes.  The third suspect was wearing a white shirt, white sweatpants, glasses and her hair was styled in two French braids.  They fled the area in a black Ford Focus with no plates.  They got away with over 40 items of children’s clothing valued at around $500. COAL VALLEY ATTEMPTED MURDER STILL UNSOLVED - 2020-000246
March 19, 2021

One year ago, on March 11, 2020 at approximately 10:00 PM, an unknown suspect approached the front door of a home in the 1900 block of 1st Street, Coal Valley and knocked to make contact with the resident.  When the occupant of the residence answered the door, the unknown suspect shot the resident in the chest.  The victim described the suspect as a Hispanic or white male approximately 5’7”-5’10” tall with a slim build, dressed in a dark stocking cap, blue bandana covering his face from his eyes down, gray hooded sweatshirt with a lime green or yellow safety type vest over the sweatshirt and blue jeans.  The suspect is believed to have fled the area in a waiting vehicle, identified as a red or maroon late 2000 Nissan Altima, with at least one other occupant.  The Nissan fled the area southbound on 1st Street and then westbound on US Route 150.  Ballistic information has also been obtained.  At this time the Coal Valley Police Department continues to follow-up on all leads that continue to be generated.  Any person with information on this crime, please contact Crime Stoppers of the Quad Cities at 309-762-9500 or use our mobile app P3 Tips.  You will remain anonymous and you could earn a cash reward.

GUN CRIME INITIATIVE
March 12, 2021

TWO LADIES STEAL CLOTHES AT WALMART (2021-000913)

On January 22, 2021, these two females selected a cart full of merchandise at Walmart in Moline.  They proceeded to the self-check-out where they scanned all of the merchandise. The suspect tried to pay with two cards but both were declined.  At that time the females proceeded to push the cart full of merchandise out the doors without paying for it.  They left the store with $454 worth of stolen clothing.  They got into a black SUV and left the area. One suspect is described as heavy set, wearing a red baseball hat with a blue and red hoodie. The second suspect is described as heavy set, with bleached hair, wearing a black stocking cap and a gray, black and white hoodie with matching sweat pants. SUSPECT STEALING PURSES ALL OVER QC - 2020-009722
February 05, 2021

The pictured suspect has been stealing purses from grocery carts and at gas stations all over the QC.  He is described as Hispanic or a light-skinned African-American between the ages of 45-55.  He has a large build and wears glasses.  He walks with a wobble (might be slightly bow-legged).  He drives a 2011-2012 White Ford Edge that has a handicap placard hanging inside and no license plate. The Ford has unique wheels (see photo) and has black roof racks.  While inside grocery stores he will walk with a cart, or ride in a motorized cart.  He steals purses out of victims’ carts while they are not looking.  When the suspect steals purses at gas stations, he will get out of the passenger side of the Ford Edge and approach cars on the opposite side that the victim is pumping gas.  He carefully and quietly opens the car doors and steals purses from inside the victims’ vehicles. The Offender has also been known to steal purses while victims are putting air in their tires.
