AGGRAVATED BATTERY AT CIRCLE K - 2019-004797

The East Moline Police Department is seeking assistance identifying two people involved in an Aggravated Battery at Circle K on October 6th.    At 4:18 AM they entered the business. One was wearing a red tee-shirt, black ball cap and black pants.  The other was wearing a black hooded sweatshirt and blue shorts. The subject in the red tee-shirt went behind the register and punched the clerk several times. Both subjects then ran out of the store. MOWER TAKEN IN SILVIS - 2019-007912

On October 8, 2019, an employee of Pillar Equipment in Silvis discovered an Exmark Lazer E-Series zero turn mower with a 60 inch deck missing from the lot. The mower is valued at valued at $11,100.  Surveillance cameras captured the suspect drive off in the mower. CAR BURGLARY SUSPECT USES STOLEN CARDS - 2019-011618

GRAFFITI DAMAGE REPORTED IN ROCK ISLAND - 2019-006953

SUSPECT PUSHES OUT A CART FULL AT FARM AND FLEET - 2019-010658

Moline Police took a report of a felony shoplifting that occurred on August 18, 2019 at Farm & Fleet, Moline.  This male, black suspect with graying hair selected a cart full of high dollar items and left out a rear exit.  He  left the items near a loading dock.  He then walked to his car and drove around to pick up the items.  The car is a red mid 90’s model four-door sedan with only one hubcap. FAKE BILLS PASSED AT GAME STOP - 2019-009635

On August 3, 2019,  this suspect bought a Playstation 4 at Game Stop in Moline, with three counterfeit 100 dollar bills.  He then returned the Playstation at the Game Stop store in Waterloo, Iowa and received cash. SUSPECT EXPOSED HIMSELF AT MOLINE LIBRARY - 2019-010052

APARTMENT COMPLEXES BURGLARIZED (2019-009673)
August 15, 2019

During the early morning hours of August 8th, these three suspects broke into laundry card machines at both Homewood Manor Apartments 3425 60th Street, Moline and LeClaire Apartments 421 19th Street, Moline, stealing the cash from out of the machines.  A video camera was damaged at LeClaire Apartments when one of the suspects struck it with a hammer.   At Homewood Manor apartments a glass door was shattered. The three suspects arrived and left in a white sedan.  The suspect in the white Champion shirt has very short, clean-cut hair, a small goatee with multiple tattoos on both lower arms as well as a tattoo on his neck/upper chest area.  The male in the red hoodie also had very short, clean-cut hair, a similar goatee and a diamond-stud earring in his left earlobe.  The third male has a similar skin tone as his cohorts, but no other distinguishing features could be determined.  If you know who these guys are call the Crime Stoppers tip line 309-762-9500 or submit your tip using the app P3 Tips. SHOPLIFTERS HIT JEWEL IN EAST MOLINE (2019-003036)

East Moline Police are asking for help identifying these two females who filled up a shopping basket at Jewel-Osco in East Moline on June 25th and left the store without paying.  They are seen on video running through the parking lot and getting into a dark green GMC Sonoma with Iowa plates. WALCOTT HOME BURGLARIZED

FAKE 100 PASSED IN DAVENPORT

On July 16th, two suspects passed a counterfeit 100 dollar bill in Davenport.  When confronted by an employee they did not panic, giving an excuse as to where they got the bill.  Then they casually left in an older black Saturn Relay with an Illinois temporary tag. These suspects hit at least 7 businesses along I74 and it appears they are hitting stores along the I80 corridor also. They are buying small value items to get the change. KNIVES STOLEN AT MENARDS - 2019-007852

On June 28, 2019, this suspect entered Menards and grabbed some Kershaw brand knives, valued at $160.  He hid them on his person. BUS DRIVER ASSAULTED - 2019-006354

On July 6, 2019 this suspect  battered a MetroLink bus driver near Sunset Heights apartments in Rock Island. The suspect left the area before authorities arrived and he has not been identified. The bus driver did not require medical attention. STOLEN CARD USED TO BUY PS4 - 2019-008266

On June 27, 2019, these two guys entered Walmart with a stolen credit card and used it to buy a PS4 game system and gift cards.  Total purchases were over $500.  The two males appeared to be approximately in their late 30`s to 40’s. One was wearing a black jacket, black t-shirt, and red shorts. One suspect has a very distinct hair style that was dyed light brown and had braided dreadlocks that were pulled up above his head. The other suspect was wearing a black dew rag and a grey Iowa Hawkeye`s shirt. COUNTERFEIT BILLS PASSED IN EAST MOLINE - 2019-002967
June 27, 2019

On June 21st, within five minutes, the suspect passed counterfeit bills in two East Moline stores.  He first went into Walgreens, 657 Avenue of the Cities and spent 4 fake $100 bills to load a Visa NetSpend card.  He then went to Dollar General, 657 Avenue of the Cities and did the same thing.  The fake bills were genuine $10 bills that were altered to look like $100 bills.  Because the bills are genuine $10 bills, the counterfeit pen detector showed they were real and the clerks were unaware they have been altered.  The only way to detect these fake bills is to hold them up to a light and look at the security thread which indicates the bill is a 10.   The suspect is described as male, black, wearing light colored jeans, an orange construction vest with writing on the back and an orange hat.  If you recognize him, call the tip line 309-762-9500 or submit your tip using the app P3 Tips.  All tips are secure and anonymous and you could earn a cash reward.

On June 11th, the victim found two Paul McCartney Concert tickets for sale on Craig’s list.  She met up with the seller and gave him $350 for the two tickets.  When she arrived at the Taxslayer Center for the concert, she was told the tickets were fake.  The suspect is described as a male black, 5`8" tall, in his late 30`s, wearing a gray shirt and jeans. STOLEN CREDIT CARD USED IN EAST MOLINE - 2019-002257

On May 11, 2019, East Moline Police took a report that the victim’s wallet was stolen while at Jewel-Osco.  The victim left her purse in the cart then walked away for a short period.  When she returned she realized her wallet was missing from her purse.
