STOLEN CREDIT CARD USED AT SOUTHPARK MALL (2018-10229)

The pictured subjects are suspects in a vehicle burglary in Davenport where stolen credit cards were taken and used at Champs in Southpark Mall on September 18th. They arrived in a black 2011 Audi Q5 with California plates 7GFN938.  The SUV had a bike rack on the top. They are described as younger male Hispanics with heavy accents. The males were wearing dark-colored shorts and tee-shirts. One of the males had the letters "USA" on the back.  The offenders purchased $165.00 worth of merchandise with the stolen credit card. HELP ID QUICK CHANGE SUSPECTS (2018-009914)

On September 8, 2018 the couple pictured are suspected in a Quick Change scam at Walmart in Moline.  The two approached the cashier with a purchase and the male offender asks for change and is seen on video slipping bills into his pocket, then telling the cashier he did not receive the correct change. The male offender did this several times,  getting away with $150. GOLF CARTS STOLEN AT 2 LOCAL COURSES (2018-10259/2018-9111)

Rock Island Police took a report of two golf carts that were stolen from Highland Springs Golf Course, Rock Island, during the early part of September.  Both are white 2015 Yamahas.  One had the number 2 and one had the number 19 on it.  Then on September 17th, Rock Island County Sheriff’s Office took a report of the theft of two golf carts from Byron Hills Golf Course in Port Byron. ROAD RAGE INCIDENT IN MOLINE - 2018-009858

On September 8th at around 7:15 pm, a road rage incident occurred in the 3600 block of Avenue of the Cities in Moline.  The victim accidentally cut the suspect off in traffic.  At the next light the suspect jumped out of her vehicle, ran up to the victim who was a passenger and punched her in the face several times. The suspect is a female, black, possibly in her late twenties, heavy set, wearing her hair in a bun.  The suspect was driving a black 2016 Nissan Maxima with Illinois plate AQ14666. EYEGLASSES FRAMES STOLEN - 2018-006638

Moline Police are asking for help in identifying these two females.  On June 19, 2018, at about 8:30 PM, they stole 9 pairs of glasses from Lenscrafters located in Southpark Mall.  Suspect one (black and white dress) is approximately 40 years old and Suspect two (white shirt) is approximately 23 years old. COPPER THEFT REPORTED IN BETTENDORF

Bettendorf Police have responded to a theft from a  MidAmerican Energy substation in Bettendorf.  Over twenty strands of braided copper wire approximately 18-24 inches long were stolen. PACKAGES STOLEN FROM PORCHES IN MOLINE 2018-008889

On August 14th, 2 residents on the east side of Moline had packages stolen off their front steps. A male black was seen running up on the porch and taking the package and running back to a brown Hyundai. He was wearing a multi-colored, with yellow hoodie and below shoulder length dreadlocks. SEMI TRAILER STOLEN IN CARBON CLIFF 2018-007442

CAR BURGLAR BUSY IN EAST MOLINE 2018-003129

Several vehicle burglaries have occurred in East Moline by the same suspect.  He is checking doors and entering unlocked cars, taking coins or anything of value. MURDER OF CAINNAN GATES STILL UNSOLVED

BRAZEN CAR THEFT IN DAVENPORT
July 19, 2018

On Friday, July 6, 2018 at approx. 1:35 AM units responded to a business located at 1201 E Locust Street, in reference to a robbery and vehicle theft. The victim was inside the store and left his vehicle running. When he came outside the suspect was in his vehicle pulling out of the parking spot. The victim grabbed onto the car and was drug across the parking lot towards Bridge Avenue. Once at Bridge Avenue the suspect produced a handgun, pointed it at the victim and not so kindly asked him to step away from the vehicle.
